I hate Facebook. I never liked it even before they decided to censor content. I shut down my account when they censored me too much and never looked back. Until now.
A new acquaintance of mine who is an expert in digital marketing convinced me to give them a try. I created an account, then a business page, then started a marketing campaign with them.
The result? My advertising account was disabled within one day for "suspicious activity" and violating their advertising policies.
What was my crime? Apparently I violated their policies against advertising weapons. Here are some of the actual "violations."
They don't want my money and that is okay because I don't want to give them my money. It was a mistake listening to my new digital marketing acquaintance. I won't fault him for that ... he was just trying to help.
I have only one person to blame and that is me. I will never let that happen again.
