Please download it, unzip it, read Instructions_Windows.txt and try it out. If you like the full feature version please consider purchasing a subscription. If you do not chose to purchase a subscription you can continue to use the free version.

NOTE:

Windows Only - Antivirus False Positives.  This is a Java program wrapped as a NMCollectorCP.exe in order to run on Windows.  When you run the .exe file it generates a java process to run the underlying java program.  When it does this some AntiVirus programs see this as a threat to your system even though it is not.  This is called a false positive.  For example, Norton flags the latest release with WS.Reputation.1 threat.  Please see this url for a discussion of this "threat" https://community.norton.com/en/forums/wsreputation1-alert-norton

Please note - in the Mac version only, occasionally the canned reports will not display.  Please restart NM Collector Cross Platform when reports are not working and they will start working again.

NM Collector Software JE - Any Collection Any Computer that can run java – Windows, Mac, Linux. Designed to be run directly off of a USB flash drive for security and portability but can also be run from a hard drive, network drive, or even the cloud.

As described elsewhere, due to the age of this software combined with recent changes in Apple and Microsoft policies for downloaded applications, running it when downloaded from the internet has become an issue.  There are no problems when it is delivered on a USB flash drive.

I would suggest using NM Collector Cross Platform Software instead.

Use to migrate your data from NM Collector Software JE to NM Collector Software Cross Platform

Download, extract, and run.  Instructions included in download are out of date.  Please use this manual instead.

This can be used to reset your copy of NM Collector JE.  You will need to reenter all data and re-apply your activation (if any).  Please download, unzip, then replace your current nmcswDB directory with this one.  You must delete your old nmcswDB directory before copying this one.   The location is [installation directory]\NMCollectorJE\NMCollectorJE.app\Contents\Resources\nmcswDB where [installation directory] is wherever you have NM Collector JE installed.

To reduce the amount of data you have to re-enter, you can use File > Export > to Desktop CSV to export your current data before deleting your current nmcswDB directory.  Then, after resetting your nmcswDB as described above, use File > Import > from Desktop CSV to bring your data back into the database.  This does not preserve your customizations but will bring in your data.
