Linux

Installation

1. Extract the contents of NMCollectorCP_Linux_2.3.0.zip to a folder on your computer.
2. Do not extract the files to a USB flash drive on a Linux system. This causes errors.
3. This creates the NMCollectorCP_Linux directory, which contains the application.
4. For reports to work, you must also install Microsoft fonts (Arial in particular).

Startup

1. Open a Terminal window in the NMCollectorCP_Linux directory

Option 1 :

1. From desktop, navigate to the NMCollectorCP_Linux folder,
2. right click on it and
3. select "Open in terminal" from the dropdown list

Option 2:

4. Open a Terminal window
5. cd to the NMCollectorCP_Linux directory

2. Start the NMCollectorCP application from the Terminal Window with:

sh run.command
