Pictures Tab
This tab allows you to enter multiple pictures of each item in your collection. Please consider the following when using this tab:
- The picture itself is not stored in the database; rather, it's file location is stored. That is why I included the "Path Added to Database" field; so you can see the actual value that is stored in the database
- The "Pictures" control allows you to move forward and backward through your pictures. New pictures are always added to the end of the list.
- You can specify the date the picture was taken for your reference purposes.
- Use the "Add Picture" button to add pictures for this item.
- Use the "Remove Picture" button to remove the currently displayed picture for this item.
- Use the "Zoom" button in conjunction with the "Zoom Multiplier" to adjust the size of the picture. Enter a multiplier greater than 100 to increase the size of the picture and a multiplier less than 100 to decrease the size of the picture.
- Use the "Fit Picture" button to make the currently displayed picture fit the screen. The picture's aspect ratios will be retained to prevent distortion so either the length or the width may not take up the entire picture area.
- You can click a menu option to "Fit Picture" by default.
- Use the "Custom Fields" button to enter your own custom fields for the current picture.
- Use the "Restore" button to bring the display of the picture back to it's underlying true size.
- You can also enter a note for the picture in the field below the picture.
- When no pictures are associated with the current item, the NMGCSW coyote is displayed and the "Remove Picture" button is disabled.
