Item

The Item field is the primary interface used to manage smaller collections. For those with larger collections it is suggested to use the Statistics tab instead. To ensure that you can uniquely identify each piece of your collection, the Item field is automatically built by concatenating the following Description Tab fields (in the following order) as they are entered:

• Manufacturer
• Model
• Type
• Caliber or Gauge
• Serial Number
• Importer

I hope this is an intuitive approach and makes sense to the users of this software.
