- Weber DCOE 40 with Lynx Crossover Manifold for Pinto 2.0L
(please see Note 2) - SOLD
- In used but very good condition. Almost impossible to find for
Pinto. Designed for Weber side draft carb or Delorto side draft carb.
The "Lynx Crossover" manifold is unque in that it connects venturi 'A'
to cylinders 2 and 3 and venturi 'B' to 1 and 4, ie to alternatively
firing cylinders. The "crossover" therefore spaces the induction pulses
evenly. Seperated by static periods. It is in this situation that the
side draft carburettor was designed to operate effectively as with twin
side draught carburettors where each venturi feeds only one cylinder”
These manifolds were originally developed for Motorsport regs, so you
basically get the power of 2 carbs without any of the balancing
issues!!

- Mallory Dual Point Distributor (#YL582HP)
- SOLD
- Race-proven performance. Mallory designed,
engineered, and race-tested the original dual-point distributor over 65
years ago. New materials and technologies have enabled Mallory to
improve the performance and reliability of its basic design for
performance engines. Their distributors incorporate features not found
in conventional, remanufactured, or replacement distributors, with the
added benefit of stabilized dual contact point sets that increase coil
output by 50 percent. They have adjustable mechanical and/or vacuum
advance, heavy-duty points for increased rpm range, self-lubricating
bushings, and Mallory's Super-Duty cap and rotor with brass terminals.
The result? Maximum performance at any rpm.

- Cyclopac Dry Air Cleaner - SOLD
- Good condition. Works perfectly but has external scuffs and
fading. This is an advanced filtration system for extreme dust
situations that uses centrifugal force to keep dust out of the element.
Ultimate
Filtration...At a Price is an Offroad.com writeup on a similar
product (Unique Metal Products "Super Filter") that uses the exact same
technology at a cost of $400.00.
Also from an OffRoad.com article on Centrifugal filters:
These are most likely the most effective filters of all , but
also the
most expensive . Currently in fashion in off road racing circles and
used for years by desert runners , they were originally developed as
filtration units for heavy equipment that spent its life working in
high dust environments . As it's name implies , the system works like a
centrifuge , throwing heavier dirt particles to the outside and away
from the element , so that it only has to deal with the smaller
particles . This keeps the element from clogging as quickly and allows
for free flow of air over a longer period before the need for cleaning
. The paper element is rumored to last for years on a recreational
vehicle and several races on a racing vehicle . Another advantage is
remote mounting . The canister can be mounted inside a car , and then
connected to the air box by means of a section of rubber hose.

- ROSS Racing Pistons 362 (Forged) 2.0 Liter (4 ea.) - SOLD
- I am told these are 7 to 1 compression and were run a few times
with a turbo. See pictures for actual measurements. Let me know if you
want to see other measurements.
Like new condition except for a few assembly/dissasembly marks,
something stuck on the surface of one and a very small dent in another
(pictured). I have not used any chemicals to clean these ... just wiped
them with tissue paper to remove some of the loose carbon and oil on
the surface.

- 2.0 Liter Spearco 4 barrel intake manifold (please see
Note 1) - SOLD
- In used but excellent condition. Very hard to find. According to The
Ford Pinto Showcase: "The best of the 4 barrel manifolds. Mounts
the carb facing forward, so you can get to the jets without having to
remove the carb. Smooth runners make it noticeably the best 4 barrel
manifold out there."

Selected Notes from "How to Hotrod Your 2.0-Liter OHC Ford",
David Vizard, HP Books:
- "... intended for use with a Holley 390 cfm four-barrel
carburetor. ...
when comparing two- and four-barrel installations, ... the four barrel
advantage is, in most cases marginal. Where four barrels do score over
the big single two barrel, is in drivability and smoothness. This seems
to be most evident on engines equipped with the standard cam with
little or no head-work. I favour the small four-barrel carb for use on
a mildly modified engine, especially with auto transmissions."
- "... This is one of the few manifolds that I've tested apparently
having some serious thought done on it. ... the Lynx manifold was
designed for normal street use. It was designed to give good mileage
and good throttle response even at low revs while also taking emission
requirements into account. ... However, you should know, this manifold
is not a high rpm unit. ... With respect to automatic transmission
torque demands, this is one of the best manifolds for such use. Dyno
testing has shown that in the 1300-2300 rpm range, this manifold gives
more torque than twin side-draft manifolds."
